To Our Students and Parents,
Recently, Collin County has issued a disaster declaration due to the rapidly evolving circumstances surrounding the Coronavirus. We hope that everybody heeds the advice and warnings of medical professionals and stays safe. Additionally, we are well aware of all the closures occurring in restaurants, businesses, public facilities and events, and the public school districts.
As such, we have decided to close MTGK for the next coming week (up to and including March 29th).
We are looking into alternate solutions to in-person classes (such as online learning) in order to continue teaching our bright students. We are looking for ways to balance the safety and education of all our students and their families during this difficult time. We will let you know as soon as possible with more details.
Please let us know if you have any concerns or considerations. We would love to hear any ideas regarding alternatives to in-person classes.
